Using your Picks list

Picks is your wishlist with a brain. It holds the games you are waiting to buy, ranks them by how much you want them, and tells you when a price makes one worth buying.

Adding games

Search for a game or browse a hub such as Game Pass, Deals or Upcoming, open its page and add it to your Picks. The game page shows the current best price across stores, the score, and a full breakdown of how that score was reached.

Why the order matters

Your Picks are ranked, and the rank is part of the score: a quarter of your LootPick Score comes from how high you placed the game. Move a game up with the arrows on its card when you want it more, and its score rises. Move it down and the same price looks less urgent. This is how two people can see different scores for the same game at the same price.

Finding things in a long list

  • Filter by typing part of a title.
  • Platform: narrow to PS5, Xbox, PC or Switch.
  • Sort by priority (your own order), score, price or discount.
  • View as a list or as a grid of cards.

Sorting only changes what you see. It never changes your ranking, so you can sort by discount to spot bargains and your priorities stay exactly where you put them.

Price alerts

Each pick has an alert switch. Turn it on and set a target price on the game page, and the setting is saved to your account so the price can be watched for you instead of you checking by hand. Notifications are delivered by the mobile app. Free accounts can keep two alerts active at once; Premium has no limit.

Free and Premium

Free accounts can track 20 picks in full. If you keep more than that, the games ranked beyond your top 20 stay in the list but are locked. The locked ones are always the lowest ranked, never whichever happen to be sorted last, so re-sorting the list does not unlock anything and does not hide your best picks either. Premium removes the limit.

From Picks to Loot

When you buy a game, move it to your Loot and record what you paid. That is what turns a wishlist into a record of what you spent and what you saved. See Tracking spending and savings with Loot.
